Present: The Defragmented Mountains
HeraldAngemon
picked his human partner and best friend up, cradling her in one of his muscular
arms while he rose in the air. Already, both of their bodies were glowing
with the power that would combine both their spirits into one. As the two
of them flew up into the air together, their rainbow light shined brightly in
the digital night sky, like a star. "Suri," the angel's voice
was soft and affectionate. He looked down at the girl he had been created
to care for and to protect. "I love you."
Tsuriai looked up at him with a sweet smile. She felt exactly the same. "I love you, too, Veric."
And now, while a warm sensation overcame them, they steeled their hearts for whatever destiny had in store for them. All they knew is that they had a mission to restore balance and peace not only to the Digital World, but to Time as well. And they weren't just fighting for this great cause. They were fighting for their family and their friends. Nothing would stop them from protecting the ones they loved.
"Look!" a teary-eyed Kari pointed up in the sky. "There they are!"
"Unbelievable..." the young TK sighed in complete awe.
Tsuriai's father stood beside Cody. "My girl..." his heart reached out to her. He wanted more than anything to take her place so that his daughter could be safe, but, as a Digi-Destined himself, he knew all too well the demands of destiny. All he could do was keep hope alive.
Finally, as she and HeraldAngemon stared forward with determination, Tsuriai's voice rang out throughout the whole of the Digital World.
Fusion Digivolution...Upgrade!
All of a sudden, a blinding light and echoing voice caught OmniNegabyte's attention. "WHAT'S THIS?!?!" he bellowed in anger. He recognized exactly what was happening. HeraldAngemon and his human were together, just like they were the last time he fought the Digi-Destined in a previous version of the future.
HeraldAngemon digivolve to...
"NOOOO!!!!!" OmniNegabyte roared. Caring little about the other digimon around him, he swatted them away and trudged his way toward the angel and the human girl he held.
"Shakkoumon!" Cody yelled at the top of his lungs. "You guys have to protect Suri and Veric!"
The DNA digimon's eyes burned red. "Don't let him get to HeraldAngemon!" Shakkoumon called out to his fellow digimon.
Kachina Bomb!
Hallowed Knuckle!
Fire Tornado!
"RAAAAGGGGHHHH!!!!!" OmniNegabyte wailed, shielding his face from the sudden onslaught of attacks.
Though
the digital monsters had grown tired and weaker from all the previous fighting,
just seeing the magnificent transformation of HeraldAngemon and Tsuriai
re-ignited the hope and determination in their hearts. "AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!"
Seraphimon screamed with a newfound inner strength.
Seven Heavens!
Cody stood beside Tsuriai's father. "Come on, guys," he prayed, watching HeraldAngemon and Tsuriai with his heart full of hope. "I believe in you."
Dragon Fire!
Justice Beam!
The Future Guardian hovered in the air just in front of the group of humans. As Tsuriai's body faded into that of her digimon partner's, the glowing sphere spoke more lyrics of Matt's song. "In this time of fear, when darkness casts its cold shadow, it seems that strength and knowledge aren't enough to find our way. Yet we shall persevere with faith and friends right by our side. The truth and love within our hearts no one can take away."
Finally, the newly upgraded Mega-level digimon
lifted his head, power radiating from his glowing body.
...HeraldAngemon Advanced!
Magnadramon paused her attack for a moment, taking in the image of HeraldAngemon Advanced. "Incredible..." she awed. He didn't look much different from before, but she could sense the intense energy he held. And now, strapped to his back was an instrument of some sort. Perhaps a horn.
Hallowed Knuckle!
Tsuriai's father pointed up at the angel. "What is THAT?" he asked, curious as to the new object that appeared when Tsuriai melded with her digimon. "Some kind of weapon?"
"No," the Future Guardian answered. "That is the Horn of Harmony." She eyed the golden instrument. "It's what HeraldAngemon Advanced uses to restore life to the Digital World after ArchAngemon Advanced brings forth the Great Silence."
Kachina Bomb!
The
younger TK looked down at his best friend. "Are you ready,
Kari?" he asked her. The brown-haired girl just gave a single nod,
her tears finally gone. "Then let's do it." The two Digi-Destined
opened their D-Terminals, gripping the computer device with one hand while
holding their digivices with the other.
"Digi-Egg of Light," Kari started to speak as the armored egg materialized in front of her. "Grant your power to HeraldAngemon Advanced."
TK summoned his egg as well, requesting the same of it. "Give him the power he needs to protect the Digital World."
And then the armored digi-eggs disappeared.
Dragon Fire!
Seven Heavens!
HeraldAngemon Advanced extended his arms before him. Within seconds the Armor Digi-Eggs of Light and Hope appeared in each hand. First he lifted his left hand, holding the Armor Digi-Egg of Light up. "By the divine gifts bestowed upon me," his voice echoed through the mountain range. "I command you to transform!"
Talisman of Light!
"NOOO!!!" OmniNegabyte struggled against three rather angry and rejuvenated digital monsters. Magnadramon, Shakkoumon, and Seraphimon pounded on him time and again, never letting up. They were trying their best to stall him until HeraldAngemon Advanced was ready to deliver the final blow. "THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!!!!"
The Fusion digimon raised his right hand now. "Armor Digi-Egg of Hope!" his voice rang. "By the divine gifts bestowed upon me, I command you to transform!"
Scepter of Hope!
Cody's eyes glimmered with the bright light cast by HeraldAngemon Advanced. "They're doing it..." he smiled a bit. Though Tsuriai and Veric were now united as one being, he still referred to both of them.
Justice Beam!
The sight of the angel was astonishing. "I know you can do it, Suri," her father smiled as well.
The
Future Guardian looked on. HeraldAngemon Advanced floated in the air,
focusing his energy into the objects he held in his hands. "They're
charging up the Talismon and the Scepter!" she announced.
The younger TK furrowed his brow. "I just hope they have enough power."
Hallowed Knuckle!
"Just...a...little bit...more...Suri..." HeraldAngemon Advanced grunted between clenched teeth. He could feel his strength weakening as power passed from him to the Talisman of Light and the Scepter of Hope. But his strength wasn't the only thing fading away. He could also sense Tsuriai's energy waning. "Hold on...a...little bit...longer..."
"Please," Kari prayed. Her heart reached out to the blonde girl and her digimon. "Please let this work."
Finally, the transfer was complete. As HeraldAngemon Advanced tossed the Talisman of Light into the air before him, a confident smirk replaced his grim countenance. "Now it is time to return balance to the Digital World," he told himself. Then, he grabbed the end of the Scepter of Hope with both hands above his head. "Seraphimon!" he called out.
The knight angel looked up and spied his fellow angel digimon poised to attack.
"Get out of there!" HeraldAngemon Advanced warned him.
Seraphimon didn't hesitate a second. In an instant, he collected his friends, Shakkoumon and Magnadramon, and flew them to safety.
"Huh?" OmniNegabyte shook his head, confused. The three digimon who had just been pummeling him ran off for no apparent reason. That's when he heard an ominous voice echo throughout the mountains.
HeraldAngemon Advanced swung his scepter down, aiming it directly for the Talisman of Light.
HARMONIOUS HEALING!
A
wide beam of lavender light shot forth from the Scepter of Hope, striking the
talisman dead center. And through the talisman, this single ray of energy
became millions of crystal shards, each one piercing through the sky like a hot laser and
impaling OmniNegabyte with an energy so incredibly powerful.
"AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!" OmniNegabyte wailed, falling backward and crashing into the rocky mountains. "THAT LIGHT!!!!" His leather-rough skin began to melt and what fur he had singed and burned. It was the one attack he could never overcome.
It was the combined powers of Hope and Light.
